Investments

The State Investment Council oversees a highly diversified institutional-quality portfolio that includes the holdings of New Mexico’s permanent funds, state financial reserves, its early-childhood endowment fund, and long-term investment assets for more than 20 governmental clients.

These investments are allocated by the Council across multiple strategies, including public equity (stocks), core fixed income (bonds), private equity, real estate, credit and related investments, and real asset investments like infrastructure, timber, agriculture and energy.

The State Investment Council’s quarterly investment performance reports are posted below. Monthly flash reports can be found in the Council’s meeting materials.
