The John R. Carver Trust is a testamentary trust created in the Last Will and Testament of Dr. John R. Carver in 1954. The trust was specifically created to pay income to the Clovis Library, owned and operated by the City of Clovis. The library was sometime thereafter named the Clovis Carver Library. The trust has provided periodic payments to the library for book purchases as well as equipment purchases.
