The New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) works to encourage all New Mexicans to pursue a college education by making it more accessible and affordable. NMHED, in collaboration with New Mexico’s public colleges and universities, has created a statewide vision in which all New Mexicans may achieve the highest level of education they desire, can succeed once enrolled, and will be prepared to participate in New Mexico’s high-wage workforce. NMHED invested with the SIC in the 4th quarter of FY 2007.
